Registration / Profile Information

How do I verify my account?

After completing the registration process, you will receive an email from us with a link. Once the verification message arrives via email, click the verification link, or copy and paste it into your browser. Doing this will verify your account. If you have problems with the account verification process, please Contact Us.

How do I change my account information?

To edit your profile, log in and click the Edit Profile link that appears in the upper right corner of any page.

How do I change my email address (user name)?

Your email address and password are found under Edit Profile which appears when you are logged in and click the Edit Profile link the upper right corner of any page.

How do I close my public user account?

log in and click the Edit Profile link that appears in the upper right corner of any page.

In the lower right corner under your information, click the 'delete your account' button.

How can I Report Problems?

Rewardthepublic has links on many pages that allows users to Report these pages to Rewardthepublic support staff. Users are also asked to report problems through the Contact Us footer link on any page.

How is the ranking of search results determined?

Rewardthepublic's search results are based on one or more algorithms that are designed to provide the best results based on a number of different factors including geographic location, user account settings, and more. We are constantly working to improve our search results so that we can deliver the most relevant results to all of our users.

How does information end up on Rewardthepublic?

We aggregate information from site users as well as third party data providers who gather this type of information from public records and other sources. We also get information from our Client Users, who are partnered with Rewardthepublic to ensure that the info we have is correct. Where does rewardthepublic get information about companies, rewards programs and credit cards?

Rewardthepublic works hard to only share objective attributes about companies and their offerings. We aggregate information from site users as well as third party data providers who gather this type of information from public records and other sources. These attributes can also be set by client users if he or she has signed up for a free Client User's Account.

General Guidelines-Information Posting

Rewardthepublic allows our Client Users to contribute different kinds of content, including their company information, photos, deals & events, and more. Here we list some general guidelines for the use of this service. Please also read the guidelines below for specific types of content that you can contribute to the site.

Inappropriate content: Please do not post any threats, harassment, lewdness, hate speech, and other displays of bigotry of any kind.

Conflicts of interest: Client User contributions should be objective. For example, companies and their employees should not use this service to slander or "badmouth" their competitors.

Relevance: Please make sure all Client User contributions are relevant and appropriate for Rewardthepublic. For example, Rewardthepublic is not the place for rants about a company's political ideologies, or other matters that don't address the core of our user's experiences.

Privacy: Do not publicize other individual's private information. Please do not post any photos of other people without their permission, and please don't post other people's names unless you are referring to service providers who are commonly identified by their full names.

Intellectual property: All information submitted by Client Users to Rewardthepublic grants Rewardthepublic a royalty-free license to display the content in a manner specified in our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
